My history in painting started in November 2005, when i had a diagnosis of breast cancer. Throughout my battle i was supported in a great way by family, friends and professionally by Mrs Ofelia Rivera who is a councilor and Multicultural Mental Health Worker of Harmony Place in Brisbane. Mr David King , who is in charge of the art section at Harmony Place , encouraged me to follow a dream which i had,but had never got around to it thanks to the business of life. That was six years ago.He was instrumental in helping me develop my painting and artistic skills.and in achieving my dream which was: to develop my painting skills in order to participate in exhibitions of art.
